You completed the route but it isn't showing? Most cases are explained by one of a few things. Work through the checklist below, and if it's still missing, ask us to review it.
First, check the basics
- You were registered before the ride. A completion only counts if you were enrolled in a matching event at the time. Activities recorded before you registered don't count. (Not enrolled is reported as no matching event.) See How to register.
- The ride was within the event's dates. Efforts before the start or after the end of the event aren't counted.
- You used a supported activity type. The event's description lists the types it accepts; anything else is rejected. See Which activities count.
- You stayed on the official route, in the right direction. See Following the official route.
Check your data source connections
Sync activity in the account menu opens your data source connections. Check that the source you recorded with is still connected — if it isn't, activities can't reach Twenty Peaks. The same screen is where you submit a missing activity, with the Missing activity form.
Why a completion can be rejected
The most common reasons, in plain language:
- Off the route — your activity didn't follow the route closely enough, or left it and rejoined further ahead.
- Missed the start or end point — your activity didn't pass through the route's start and end points.
- Out-of-date route file — you rode an old GPX that no longer matches the published route.
- No GPS track — the activity had no usable GPS data to analyze.
- Unsupported activity type — the activity type can't be ranked.
- Not enrolled — you weren't registered for a matching event.
Still missing? Ask us to review
If you're sure you rode it correctly, submit it for review with the Missing activity form, found in Sync activity and linked in the site footer. Our team will look at it and may approve the completion manually. Please note a manually approved completion may or may not appear in the rankings table — that's at Twenty Peaks' discretion.
