Twenty Peaks credits your completions from the activities your device or app records. Connecting a data source is what lets the platform see those activities and check them against the event routes.
Why a connection is required
A connection is essential — without a data source there is nothing for Twenty Peaks to analyze, so your completions cannot register. Once you connect, every supported activity is checked automatically for the completions it contains.
What you grant, and what we do with it
You grant read access to your activities. For each activity, Twenty Peaks looks for one or more event routes ("completions") and records the ones it finds in your personal area. We don't post anything back to your provider.
You can connect more than one source
Strava, Garmin, Wahoo and Polar are all supported, and you can connect several at once — useful if you record with different apps or devices.
Connecting is separate from logging in
Connecting Strava as a data source is not the same as how you sign in. You log in to Twenty Peaks with your email or social login; connecting a device only adds an activity source and never changes your login.
Next: Connect Strava · Which activities count · Did my completion count?
Note: connecting does not make past activities count on its own — only activities recorded after you connect arrive automatically. For anything earlier or missing, open Sync activity and use the Missing activity form. Remember that activities recorded before you registered, or outside the event's dates, never count.
