From signing up to appearing in the rankings, taking part in Twenty Peaks follows the same five steps. Here's the whole flow at a glance.
The five steps
- Sign up. Create an account with your email address, or use social login. See Creating an account & logging in.
- Register for an event. Find an event and join it. See How to register.
- Connect a device or Strava. Link your sports computer or Strava account so your activities flow in automatically. See Why connect a device?
- Complete the official routes. Ride or run the official routes once your event is live. Follow each route closely, though it doesn't have to be perfect — small deviations, GPS drift and detours are tolerated. Stray too far, or skip part of the route, and the completion may not be credited. See Following the route.
- Get ranked & finish. Completed routes are credited to your profile automatically, and the rankings update throughout the event — you appear in them from your very first credited completion, not only at the end. Complete enough distinct routes and you also earn Finisher status. See Becoming a Finisher.
Whether a particular activity counts depends on how closely it matches the official route and on being registered for a matching event. The details are covered in Did my completion count?
